Recycling and purchase of used refractory materials.
Our company uses waste from industrial processes and from the remediation of decommissioned technological equipment (furnaces, fireplaces, chimneys, ladles) in the production of new refractory products. By recycling this waste, we significantly contribute to reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to production from primary raw materials, while also reducing dependence on imports from third countries.
We purchase the following types of used materials:
Chamotte products (e.g. bricks and wedges from furnace linings, chimneys, and ladles).
Electrodes.
Magnesia–carbon bricks and wedges.
Mining of refractory clay.
Mining of refractory clay. The company Žiaromat a.s. has been carrying out mining operations and extracting clays from an open-pit mine for many years. The production capacity of the clays exceeds 20,000 tons per year. Continuous quality inspections repeatedly confirm the suitability of the refractory and ceramic clay.
